I think of Andy simply as an Australian. That said, we need to be better connected in the Australian-Chinese community and we need to have a more diverse team in parliament.

Knowing Andy through table tennis I saw first-hand his dedication, commitment, and discipline. Andy has the temperament and character we need in Parliament.

From a young age, Andy has consistently been a remarkable community leader. Andy was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship in recognition for his services to the Lions Club community and beneficiaries.

Andy's business experience across a range of industries gives him rare insights that are necessary for contributing to economic policy and ensuring it will drive growth.

Andy has a special ability to straddle two cultures - Australian and Chinese, befitting his place of birth (Australia).

Andy has unique and profound insights into Australia's economic development, especially the trade relationship between China and Australia. This is invaluable for the federal parliament and for a healthy and positive China-Australia relationship.

Andy is a true champion of the vision for a Multicultural Australia. Most recently, I was interviewed as a guest on his talk show Andy One-on-One where we discussed concerns of education, legal reforms in correctional procedures.

I  have known Andy for many years and have always been impressed with his commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability- values which I am sure will be a positive force in Parliament.
